Hello, my name is Liz. I come from a town, where I have been playing softball since I was 6, and being a catcher since I was 8. I am currently on the Midwest Slammers softball team, coached by Jeff Martinez. I have been blessed to be working with Coach Martinez for the last four years and continue to do so throughout high school.
Softball has taught me about myself, leadership in life, friendships, and being a team player. The game has inspired me to not only want to play in college but also be a coach someday. I am a coach-able player and I am a quick learner on and off the field.
My priorities are school first and softball second. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA, I am vice president of the Business Professionals of America Club in my high school, business manager of the yearbook and I am active in my church and youth program. I am also involved in the Reach SADD club at my school and plan on staying with these clubs and my youth group throughout high school.
I just recently committed to buena vista university to play softball!
