Cheyenne Andersen '17 Recruiting Profile

I am 5’8” Center Fielder from Indianola, Iowa. I will graduate in the class of 2017. I am starter for my High School Varsity Team.

Why I love playing softball?  I love being a part of a team and a team player. I work hard and give everything I have to try and be the best. I love the feeling I get when playing the game and being with my friends and doing what I love.

I played on travel teams since 2009. In 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 our team placed first in the Iowa State Tournament. In 2013 and 2014 we were Northern National Champions, and in 2013 I was named in the World Series game MVP. I am looking for a college where I can find the best education possible and can play in the field. My 1st choice would be Iowa if not there then somewhere in the Midwest. Financial assistance will be very important to me because my mom is a single parent raising three children.
