Olivia Clausen '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Olivia Clausen! I am a sophomore at Nevada, IA High School. I started playing softball when I was very young, and was a multi sport athlete. As of two years ago I decided I wanted to pursue my dream of playing softball at a collegiate level, therefore I am currently only focusing on softball. I do play for my highschool team and am a starting varsity 1st baseman. I have been playing for a local travel team for 6 years now and I have grown as a person and athlete ever since joining. Our program's home base is in Ames, Iowa. I want to play at the next level because I want to make friendships with others who love the sport as much as I do. My primary position is catcher but I do have a lot of infield experience at 1st and 3rd base. I think me being a utility player is an attribute to my team first attitude. I can’t wait to get to campus and put in the hard work to see our team succeed!
