Mackenzie Chinn '18 Recruiting Profile

First and probably most importantly, I LOVE the game. I love everything about softball, however, I also love life and all that comes with it. My family is very important to me and has always supported me through everything, between school and softball.  School and education is also very important to me and homework always comes before hitting practice, but knowing that, makes me work even harder at my studies so I have more time for the sport I love.

I lead the team in both my batting average (.511), fielding percentage (100%), and also as lead off batter. I am a darn good cheerleader as well!! I have been to State with my HS softball team every year since freshman and as a junior I earned 1st Team All-City and All-League Honors. I also was invited to tour Italy during the summer of 2017 representing USA for AIST for 12 days. It was an amazing experience and I loved playing other teams from the other side of the world.
