Hi, my name is Emma Sutton. I am currently a Sophomore at Great Crossing High School (2025). The objective of my personal statement is to convey my interest in playing softball and continuing to do so at a collegiate level. I have played this game, competitively, since I was 7 years old and it has taught me so much. It has taught me how to work as a team, how to overcome challenges, and to always keep working no matter how hard it can get. Along with softball my ultimate goal is to graduate college, continue on to veterinarian school, and become a livestock or equine veterinarian. Academics are my main reason for attending college but I believe that softball will better my college experience by creating even more friendships, teaching me responsibility, and also how to better manage my time. I know this will be challenging, but challenging myself will be the only way to achieve my goals. I currently take honors and college classes. I am also a member of the local FFA chapter along with some community service clubs. I have the drive and the work ethic to do what it takes to achieve my goals and dreams.
Thank you for reading,
Emma Sutton
