Catherine Schuster '20 Recruiting Profile

          I have valued my academics and athletics throughout my life. My success within both has shown tremendously throughout the years.  I intend on studying Oceanic Engineering at a highly recognizable college as well as contributing to the softball program.

         My goals that I have set for myself are far from unrealistic because I have built an impressive resume giving me a good foundation for success. I have a 4.13 gpa and attend the Math, Science and Technology Magnet program at the US News and World Report's #1 school in Kentucky, DuPont Manual high school.  

         My success doesn't just shine through in academics, but in my athletic performances as well. I have hit 20 home runs and accomplished a .500 batting average and as little as 1 passed ball as catcher each season.     

         I aspire to be successful in both my academic and athletic endeavors.  I promise you that I am the most determined individual you will ever meet. I stay up to the wee hours of the night to study and prepare for each day of school and work as hard as I possibly can each and every day at practice.  

         Through every stumble and fall I may face I will never stop putting in 110% in everything I do.  I will be bringing all of my determination along with me when attending any school, I promise.
