Jewel Fentress '22 Recruiting Profile

I have loved Softball my entire life. Being the youngest of 5 kids, I have always been pushed to be competitive both academically and athletically. From playing football and wiffleball with the neighborhood kids to hide n seek and manhunt at night, I have been extremely active. At a young age,  I aspired to become a veterinarian and in doing so this requires an extensive college education that in which I want to fulfill my other dream of playing Softball at the Collegiate level. I am very honest and coachable, when asked to learn something new or try things a different way I am always willing. I am a TEAM player and love to keep my fellow teammate's energy and moral up both in the dugout and on the field. I give my all in everything I do, especially when playing my game. I am very high-spirited and I wont give up when I meet failure eye to eye. I take on any rational challenge and don't back down. I am very confident in what I do and love to do it at the same time.
