My name is Morgan Robinson, I attend Natchitoches Central High School . I've been playing softball since I was around 5 years old, but when I was 8 and was playing on an amazing team I realized that softball was something I wanted to keep in my life for as long as I can. Some things you should know about me is that I am very hardworking when it comes to my academics and athletics. I strive to maintain a 4.0 throughout the rest of my high school years while still being a student athlete. My freshman year started out as me being a courtesy runner, as the season went on my coach told me that I was performing in the JV games very well and that I deserve a shot in the Varsity lineup. When I was told that, I took it and ran with it. I was having a good season until I sprained my ankle while playing. This set me back from my goals since I had to sit out for a long time and recover. I had missed a good bit of district games and regular season games, but when I came back, I was stronger than ever. I still wanted to reach my goal and I knew that it wasn't too late, so I kept working hard and I ended up doing exactly that. I received the District 1-5A 2nd Team All-District OF Honor. But I knew that I could do better, so my goal for sophomore year was to get first team all district and that's what I did. Unfortunately after season I sprained the same ankle as before and I am currently taking the summer off of travel ball in order to get my ankle back to where it should be. All in all, the reason for putting all of this out there is so that it could be known that I am driven and a hard worker that doesn't give up, even when the unfortunate happens.
