Ashley Hollis '15 Recruiting Profile

I have always wanted to play softball and as I got older, I have dreamed of playing at the college level. I continue to work at getting better by practicing pitching, batting and fielding. I am undecided on a major at this time.   In September 2012 I broke my left thumb which kept me from playing the last part of my school ball year and I only played in 2 tournaments with my travel team in the fall. I have recovered from the broken thumb and have participated in several tournaments with my travel team this year.  I continue with pitching lessons at least twice a week, work with a batting coach at least once a week and work on fielding during travel team practices. I can play all three base positions but prefer second base.  I have played at first and second more the last couple of years and play in the outfield as needed.  I am willing and ready to play any position available and will give my all to the game.
