I have been playing softball my entire life. The instant I was old enough to swing a bat I joined. I am now a two year varsity player. I am a sophomore in high school, and a starting varsity playing for my team. I also play on a travel team all year round. My favorite position I would have to say is center field . I have the grit and drive to get every ball that comes my way, wether it requires diving or not. I also play left getting those far foul balls and backing up 3rd and my team mate. I am also a pitcher. I throw a 58 mph fast ball. A 36 mph change up. With a rise ball in my back pocket. When I was younger pitching was never in mind, it was one of those things where my team needed a pitcher and the coach threw me in. There came times where it would be hard and I would doubt myself. But, I was always able to get out of my head to get back into the game. My team and I created this rule, you have 6 seconds to be mad at your self and then no more. I think that has helped me a lot to stay focused. One thing that I am very big on is positivity, my coaches I believe would say the same. I would call myself the joker of the team. I try to keep everyone smiling and having a good time. Wether that is making them laugh or just checking in on them to see how they are. I want everyone to have a great experience in softball so I try and help them achieve that. Since I was younger my goal has always been to play softball in college. I believe I have what it takes to be d1 or d2. I am very fast, have a great eye for balls and strikes, an uplifting leader, and have a ton of dedication towards this sport. I also enjoy lifting as a way of staying in shape and active.
