My collegiate goals and aspirations are to become a better ball player than I was the day before. I want to keep improving and bettering myself so I can become a collegiate softball player. I believe that’s one of my best aspects of myself is my work ethic. I’m not the type of person to stop once I get it right; I stop until I can’t get it wrong. I set goals for myself. I’m a team player and I am always there to pick those up when they’re down. I believe that sets me apart from other players. Sure I have the heart, and I have the work ethic, but I also have a positive mindset that I try to spread with all my teammates. I know that the game is bigger than just myself and I love being apart of something like that. The atmosphere of having a second family, people who are there for you always. That’s better than any amazing defensive out you make, or better than any home run you hit. Being apart of something bigger will always top that for me. I believe that’s where some people go wrong. They just play for themselves and not the team. I’m the total opposite. Also, I plan to study journalism as my major in college in which I could write about our games and our team etc. I could bring not only journalism to a whole different level, but softball as well. There would be more coverage on the sport and there would be stories people could read not only learning about the scores and stats of the game, but what are energy is like together, the things we do pre-game and post-game, and more. I believe I have much to offer. Thank you for taking your time to read.
