My collegiate goals are to be a student athlete that performs at the top of my ability as a student, pitcher, first baseman, and a power hitter. I am a team player and a hard worker both on and off the field. I have a high IQ for the game and you will hear me leading the team on the field with where the plays are. Softball was my escape when my family moved me to Maryland starting my freshman year in high school. As tough as this was, I look back and think softball is what made me who I am today. I met some great friends and coaches during that time and it has allowed me to see all the new opportunities that came from moving. Once of the things that I am most proud of during this transition was it allowed me to give back to the younger generation by providing pitching lessons to the Middletown Softball Youth.
When I stepped onto the field, I enjoy meeting others, talking with the coaches and have been known as the girl who likes to connect with the players and other coaches. My leadership translates over into my schooling with my teachers and classmates. My teachers say that I have great time management, give outstanding effort, excellent class participation, and accepts challenges. These comments have been all apart of my learnings throughout my early life of overcoming adversity on and off the softball field. Looking forward to meeting you during this recruiting journey.
