I have been passionate about softball since I was a little girl. When I love something, I give 110% to make sure that I'm successful. When you love a sport like I love softball, it basically becomes your life. I practice for travel, practice for school, practice at home, and go away many weekends to play tournaments and I wouldn't have it any other way. Even when it gets hard sometimes, I never give up. Two summers ago I had a complete ankle replacement, and I couldn't play softball for six months. Some athletes would have just given up if they were told to take that long off; not me. I did every exercise at home that I could do to strengthen myself, as well as taking every thing in physical therapy seriously and giving my best effort. I am a strong person who takes struggles as an opportunity to become stronger. In my academics, I take a full schedule of AP classes, honors classes, and a Biomedical Sciences pathway, where I maintain honor roll every quarter. I am currently in the top 10% of my class. This past year, I was accepted into a nursing internship where I will complete 40-50 hours in the hospital. I also am an active student in my high school, where I am a member of National Honors Society, and National Technical Honors Society.
