I'm a proud Bostonian who recently relocated to the suburbs on the South Shore. It means a lot to me to stay close to my roots during college and in the years beyond; this said, I'm looking to stay in the north east. I have a strong sense of duty to my community and have learned quite a bit about this while growing up with a public school teacher mother and firefighter father. I'm currently employed as a town recreation department lifeguard and I aspire to grow in my career within the public service sector. My ambitions have long included joining the military post-college followed by a position in public safety, or as a special education teacher. Academically, I have seen myself through many years of growth and have overcome the adversity of possessing a learning disability. I have learned to collaborate with my teachers to identify just-right strategies to optimize my learning potential and the relationships that I've built with my teachers is incredibly meaningful to me. What I believe sets me apart from the rest is that I have a keen sense of emotional intelligence which I use to effectively communicate and build relationships with those around me to be successful. With this type of mindset, I'm not the only one succeeding, I'm collaborating and supporting others for the team win. I'd love to talk more, if you see me, be sure to say hello!
