Alyssa Mellin '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a high school junior who takes a lot of pride in my work on and off the field. I work hard to maintain good grades and get where I want to be. I am a very coachable player  who continues to  challenge myself everyday to be better. 

I have been playing since I was 6 years old, and ever since I stepped on the field I knew this was where I needed to be. As I progressed throughout my softball career, the many coaches and mentors I had along the helped to solidify my passion for the game.  This passion, my personal drive, and  my uncanny ability to laugh at myself, makes me a great teammate  and leader on and off the field. 

I hope to pursue a career in Athletic Training and help athletes do what they love as many have for me along the way.  I hope to continue playing at the collegiate level and continue my academic career at a school that will challenge me  socially, mentally and physically.
