My name is Samyrah Wynn, and I am from Norwood, MA. I am currently playing at Norwood High School playing OF/1st '2026. My primary position is 1st Base, but I also play outfield and 2nd Base. I also play Field Hockey and I am on the school's Varsity Winter Track Team. My journey/passion and commitment for softball started during 8th grade after I had moved and since then I have based most of my time and dedication to get things done so that I'm also learning new things and working on old ones for softball. I have been fueled by a family that emphasized the importance of hard work, effort and perseverance. My mom has been my biggest supporter, pushing me to be my best every step of the way. This unwavering support has helped me develop a strong work ethic and a deep passion for the game and its meaning.Through softball, I have met amazing coaches and players that have taught me how to correct things but also at the same time have been there for me when I need it. As an athlete, I aspire to be the kind of person who can learn from their mistakes, focus on team and individual skill. After high school, I aspire to continue to play competitive softball at the college level and I am also interested in majoring in Athletic Training.
