Personal Statement
Hi! Nice to meet you!
My name is Erin Connor and I attend Notre Dame Academy in Worcester, Massachusetts. Softball means the world to me. I truly love every aspect of the game whether it is when I am helping with coaching, umpiring, or playing. Whether playing in an intense game or a routine practice I promise I will always work as hard as I can to get even just a tiny bit better. Whenever I play I always play with a purpose and intent and will always push myself, not just when coaches are paying attention.
I love watching my idols play softball on TV, whether it is during the College World Series, The Olympics (which hopefully will include softball in its 2028 program), or in Athletes Unlimited.
I truly want to play college softball and be able to see all my hard work pay off. I wish to be able to compete at that level, by not only playing but improving and truly making my mark in the collegiate softball environment. That is my dream and I will work as hard as I can to get there.
I know I will not be the best athlete but I will constantly take feedback and work with the feedback given to me to improve. My ability to drastically improve will quickly set me apart in both athletic and academic environments.
I always try to be the best I can be on the field, in school, and personally. As a teammate, I try to be the most supportive, honest, authentic, and loyal I can be. I will never give up on myself or my team. Above all, I just want to play the game I love and push myself with a team I love as long as possible. Thank you so much!
