Meganne Skoug '21 Recruiting Profile

    I am planning to attend a four-year college or university and attain a bachelors degree, along with a graduate degree if necessary in my field of work.  Academics are always my priority, and I excel in multiple subjects. Last year I received a 4.0 GPA, succeeding in even my most challenging subject.   Some of my hobbies include playing flute, dancing, and drawing, which I find helps balance out my active life. However, softball has always been the main activity I participate in. Being a team player is rather important to me, so the respect I give and co-operation I show to my teammates sets me apart from other candidates. When playing softball, I find myself enjoying every moment. I believe my enjoyment of the game impacts my performance greatly, as I rarely get discouraged during a game and fight until the end, no matter the outcome. Batting is my strong suit; I particularly like faster pitching. Hitting well off of difficult pitchers makes me a valuable player to my team. I hope to be able to continue my softball career into college.
