Personal Statement
My parents instilled a code of faith, honesty, work ethic, and perseverance in both myself and my brother. I feel that I’m where I am today and will be where I will be tomorrow because of this code. The love for the game came at early age but I feel the love got stronger as I got older and developed a competitor that roars inside me. I wholeheartedly aspire to compete at the next level.
Sports has taught me countless of lessons. I have failed many times over. Sports has taught me that failure is only a true failure if you don’t learn from mistakes. At the end of the day I am a better hitter, runner, fielder, and teammate because I learn and adapt. The exciting thing is that this philosophy is not limited to sports…It is life!
Good grades in high school are important to me because it reflects who you are as a person. I aim to be in NHS and other extracurricular programs in high school. I believe this will lay the foundation for my success in college and my ultimate goal of becoming a teacher.
Fast, intellectual, and driven is how I like to sum myself up. I consider myself a true student of the game. I promote and understand a team that works as one, will be hard to beat. You will not only be recruiting an elite athlete, but you will also be recruiting an elite student that will represent your team and university well in all aspects!
