Maraya Buell '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a catcher and a 1st baseman, however I have experience playing every position! I have played travel ball ever since 2nd grade, and I am currently playing my 4th year with TC Thunder. I have always had consistent honor roll grades all throughout school. What makes me stand out from other players is my attitude, I am very coachable. I take advice into deep consideration when it is provided to me. Sportsmanship is also very important to me. I will always walk on and off the field with a good attitude no matter what  happened during the game. I learn from my errors and push myself to make sure I don’t make the same errors again. Furthermore, I feel work ethic is important when playing a sport. I always push myself to become better than I was before. Giving it all is one of my strong traits. As a student athlete, I believe academic always come first, then sports. My goal is to attend a college that has my preferred major.
