Gabriella Newman '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! My name is Ella Newman. I am a freshman at Jackson College in Jackson, MI. I’m looking to transfer out as I don’t feel I am being challenged here athletically. I am looking for a team that is going the extra mile and is happy to be there. I am an extremely competitive athlete who loves playing sports of any kind. On the field, my main position is first base but over my many years in softball I have done lots of pitching, outfield and even second base. I am willing to move around in order to help our team succeed. Off the field I work hard to maintain good grades, I finished with a 3.94 GPA in high school, making the top ten and receiving many scholarships. I'm a great candidate for your team because I love the team atmosphere and am looking to be the best student athlete I can be. I am very determined to succeed in everything I am a part of although I do understand that it is physically impossible to be perfect and mistakes happen occassionally. I take pride in having coaches say I am a hardworking, strong, and spirited player. I hope that you see me as an asset to your team.
