I have been in love with softball since my very first little league game. My love for the game has grown stronger ever since. It is important to me to always keep good relationships with teammates. I am always thinking of ways to improve my skills and be more successful at practices and games. Softball is a mind game; it teaches, teamwork ,hard work, self discipline, and leadership. My favorite position on the field is pitcher, but I am a full utility player that would play anywhere a team might need me. I take pride in my team and always work to keep a positive mindset. If a mistake is made, I learn from it and find ways to do better next time. On the field I am very vocal with my teammates, we all need to know where the next play may be and I focus on always giving positive encouragement. I have goals on and off the field for both school and sports. Academically, I challenge myself by taking honor classes. I have plans to join the Career Center next year, and I was accepted into National Honors Society and I have maintained a 3.8 GPA. I enjoy helping others and giving back to my community. I help do this by working for the elderly, tutoring younger students, and participating in FFA town clean up days. I give 110% in everything I do. I would love the opportunity and challenge of playing softball at the next level while working for my college degree. It is important to me that I find a college that has a great educational opportunity as well as a great softball program where I can fit in well.
