McKenna Johnson '22 Recruiting Profile

My entire life has been dedicated to athletics in a variety of ways. Growing up I enjoyed being involved in any sport I could. Whether it be gymnastics, soccer, basketball, pole vaulting, or even football, I always wanted to be moving and competing. Coming from a baseball/softball loving family, it only makes sense I soon found myself on a diamond. This is where I found my true passion. My family, coaches, and teachers may all describe me as being a bit quiet and unassuming, yet explosive in the classroom and field alike. I pride myself in not being afraid to try new things, being coachable on and off the field, and giving 100% effort in everything I do. 

College has always been a goal of mine as it provides the opportunity for new adventures and challenges to overcome. Undoubtedly being a collegiate athlete would add to these experiences. I am currently interested in pursuing a degree in criminal justice (with a foreign language minor), as I hope to someday become an FBI agent. 

While I look forward to my remaining years of high school, I am eager for the chance to continue my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level and find a new place to call "home".
