Hi! My name is Isabella Nelson. I am a starting catcher for the Bagley Flyers. I have been starting varsity since my 8th grade year. I’m a sophomore in high school and apart of the class of 2027. The sport of softball has taught me many life lessons on and off the field. I am very passionate about softball, and would love to play at college or even professional level. I have been playing softball since I could pick up a ball. This sport has helped me make long lasting bonds, through camps, games, and even at practice. I would love to continue to make these kinds of bonds outside of high school through softball. This last season I made two all conference teams. I made Northland softball all-conference team, and I also made the Pine-to-prairie softball all conference team. I had the most RBI’s on the team. These last two seasons I had six in the park home runs. I was nominated for the hardest worker two years in row, and continue to work hard during season and during the off season. I am a team player and love to work hard on and off the field.
In school I’m a very hard working student. I have a 3.9 GPA and I’m ranked 3rd out of 78 students in my class. I have heard from many teachers that I’m a great student. I’m apart of student council, I am the female representative of my class. I have helped with a few food drives for our community. I am apart of the athletic board for our school. I am the athletic representative for all the athletes in my school.
