My collegiate goals are to first and foremost, obtain a college degree. If given a chance to play on a college softball team, I would bring all the skills that I have to the program and do what I can to help that team win and become a national championship caliber team. I feel that most good high school players are good candidates for college teams, but I feel that my dedication and hard work will make me stand out just a little bit more than others as I am nearing my time to attend college to play softball. My character as being a very attentive and coachable player will make me valuable to a college coach and team..as I stated earlier, no matter what my skill sets and/or talents are; academics will be the driving force and the final say on whether I or any other athlete gets that scholarship offer. As far as my skills, as a current 10th grader, I feel that as a good pitcher and utility player, who can also hit from both sides or the plate and slap exceptionally well, I will continually get better and get notice from college scouts.
