Personal Statement
I constantly strive for excellence, when we all know that perfection does not exist. Most people when they hear this for the first time, decided that if they aren't perfect they aren't good enough. Although, even though I know I can not be perfect I still strive to be the best version of myself. Many would call me competitive, but what I don't think they understand is that I'm not always competing against other people, but instead I am competing against the past, less experience version of myself. Maybe yesterday I was unable to pop up fast enough on a throw down to second but today I'm going to try my hardest to complete that goal. Everybody has their off days and maybe just don't do their best but all they can do is learn from it and continue to try harder. I choose to live by this moto, which is why I believe I would be a good candidate for your team. In no way am I saying others don't have the want and need for softball that I do, but I will always want it more. Whether it is getting to the fields before practice to get a feel of the field or staying after to fix what I need to work more towards. I will always push myself to new limits. Although I do live and breathe softball, I also care very deeply about my academics. Learning has always had a special place in my heart and I always want to know the most possible. My plans for the future are to either go into pre med or pre vet. Even though I have not fully decided yet, both of these career paths form challenges for me and I would love to break through them and become even more knowledgable. In turn, I would be a great selection for your team because not only do I love softball with my whole heart, but I care about everything that got me into softball, my grades, the effort, the attitude, and the want. not many people can say they have all of those, but I can.
