Personal Statement

My strong family background has served as a guiding influential factor in perusing my dream of playing college softball.  As a child, I would play catch with my Father in the back yard, and when I was old enough I joined my first softball team, and fell in love with the sport.  I am very academically driven in High School and understand the importance and value of achieving a higher education.  My ability to be assertive and self-motivatived has helped me persevere and overcome any obstacles I have encountered along the way.
