Jaka Sharp '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jaka Sharp. I have started on the varsity softball team since I was a freshmen. I love the game of softball, and I actually really enjoy school as well. I take both very seriously. In school, I do not take any chances when it comes to my grades.  I have maintained straight A's all through high school. During practice, I try to have fun, but I also try to better myself. I treat every practice like it is a game, and I go 100%. I also try to encourage my teammates to do the same, so we can be better as a team. I want to go to college and become a medical doctor. At the moment, I am a little on the fence about which specific field. I would be a great addition to any softball team. While I will play my heart out and contribute as much as I can on the diamond, I am also very coachable. If any coach tells me to run to centerfield and pick up a blade of grass, I will do so without asking any questions. I will do whatever you ask of me, and I will do it respectfully. I am also a very good teammate. I will cheer on my teammates, keeping in mind not to become obnoxious. I will also encourage them to push themselves.  Personally, I believe I have good character.  I am down to earth and very passionate about the game of softball.
