Personal Statement
I started my softball career in 4th grade, playing recreational in the summer. My 8th grade year, I was not only a “three-sport” athlete, I had tried out and made my first travel team. Into my freshman year, with still competing on a travel team, I made varsity catcher on my high school team. I ended my freshman year with a batting average of .548 and making 2nd team All Conference catcher. Softball has taught me a lot of life skills, including working hard & teamwork. Academics, to me, mean just as much as athletics. I am looking for a program to fit me as an athlete as well as a student. I believe I carry the leadership skills, work ethic & team skills to make a perfect addition to your program.
