Samantha Hernandez '20 Recruiting Profile

I’m not completely sure what I will choose as a major, but I would like to do something with animals or human behavior. I also know that I want to play ball. I have loved the game since I was six years old. I know how to put in the work to be the best version of me, for myself and the right school. Being versatile and coachable is an asset I bring to any team. As a team player on and off the field, I believe that in softball you win and lose as a team.  I can play center field as well as I play shortstop with a strong arm and bat to go with it.  I've recorded 25 career home runs to date. Over the past three seasons, my BA has ranged from .323 - .452; SLG% .589-.675; and OB% .435-.585.
