Personal Statement
I have a passion to play softball, but I love to compete at any chance I can. As a Freshman for example, I accomplished a unique feat as I lettered in 5 varsity sports (softball, track, basketball, cross country, and volleyball). My desire to compete is fueled by my family where my mom played softball and basketball in college while my dad played baseball. My softball IQ and leadership qualities have been ingrained from my mom being a long time high school basketball / softball coach as well as my dad coaching softball and competitive baseball. I am very blessed to have received many accolades along the way including 2 all-state selections and a conference player of the year in softball. I am looking forward to what the next 2 high school seasons bring!
My goal is to play collegiately at a high level within a program that is willing to give a small school player a chance. To overcome the small school exposure, I have been playing with Epic out of Arkansas and Bombers out of Tennessee which has brought me to so many amazing places in our country. With God’s blessing, I will not let you down and will work hard to get better each and every day.
Thank you,
Jordan Goodell
