Hi coaches,
My name is Lily Shearer, and I’m a Class of 2026 Short stop/ 3rd baseman at Stoutland High School. I’ve been playing softball since I was about 5 years old and at the time it was just a way to spend some quality time with my grandpa, but over time I started to love the game of softball and want to make a career out of it. My future goals are to major in the medical field and go on to become a physicians assistant, while also playing the game that I love. What makes me a good candidate for any team is that I’m always trying to find ways to make myself better, I’m very competitive and want to be the best out on the field while also being a team player and doing what’s best to help my team. I also give 100% effort in everything I do whether it be inside a game or outside. I pretty much play softball year round with school fall season, which is our main season, then the following spring season, which is our off season, and then travel ball all spring and summer. I also practicing during the time I’m not in season wether it be individually or with teammates. I’m hard working and am willing to do whatever it takes to get better whether it be academically or on the field.
