Ava Philbrick '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ava Philbrick, I am a Junior at Florence Carlton High School in Florence, MT. I have a 4.0 and have high honor role/Principle’s list academic honors. I play Varsity volleyball and softball for my school, while taking part in Key Club, the Mock Trial Competition team, and National Honors Society. I play third base for my high school, and first base for the Montana Avalanche 18u Latrielle team based in Missoula Montana. My goal for playing softball in college while getting my degree is to stay physically active, competitive, and continue to grow as a player and an adult. I hope to continue my education after college and go to Law School to become a Lawyer. I believe playing softball will help me achieve that goal. Softball has given me the discipline to do my best in things I take part in, including academics and extracurriculars. I love the competition and intensity level that playing softball brings and especially playing a corner position on the field. I have been improving my skill at first base from a young age. I am very driven and dedicated to the game because I love it so much.
