July 2020Personal Statement
My name is Bobbi Reppert, and I am currently a Junior at Logan View High School. After graduating from high school, I would like to attend a 4-year university. I am determined to play softball at the collegiate level.
Playing this sport at the collegiate level is a difficult process, but very rewarding. Being from small-town Nebraska, being recognized can be difficult, but I feel I meet the requirements of college coaches. I am a versatile player, as I have been put in the outfield, at 3rd base, and am currently holding the main position at shortstop.
I am a very social person, with a very outgoing personality. When on a team or working in a group, I like to make connections with people and get to know them on a personal level. This makes conversation easier and can help get the job done. When on a team, I enjoy the feeling of being on a team, rather than the feeling of winning. I do enjoy winning, but it cannot healthily replace the feeling of friendship and connection.
Academic excellence is one of my main goals. I am currently holding a position on the Logan View National Honor Society, and have been on Honor Roll since my freshman year. I currently obtain a 3.8 GPA and am ranked 7 out of 48 in my junior class. I recently took the ACT test on December 14, 2019, and got a score of 23.
