I have all the qualities necessary to be a successful collegiate student, and softball player. To begin with, I am extremely hardworking. I am willing to put in the time and the effort to make sure that I am successful in any endeavor in which I am involved. I know what it means to be successful in school and to play at a competitive level. I play on a team in California, and spend a total of five hours on the road to practice and back home. I complete my homework on the trip to make sure that I maintain my high GPA (3.72). My hard work has paid off, I compete on a high level travel team, made the varsity team at Carson High School as a freshman (receiving an Honorable Mention Regional Award), and have been accepted as a member of the National Honor Society for my excellent grades.
In addition to being a good student and hardworking, I am a competitive athlete as well. I have been playing travel softball since I was eight, and I began traveling over the hill to California to compete at a higher level when I began 14U. I play the corner positions: first and third. I have a strong arm, and a throwing speed of 60. I am a power hitter. My exit speed was recorded at the OnDeck Jamboree in Colorado (2018) at 74 MPH. I have an excellent attitude on and off the field. I believe in a strong sense of team and a positive energy while competing. I also believe in leadership, and being a positive leader on my team.
I dream about being a part of the softball experience at the next level, and I also dream about having a career in Health Science one day. I am looking for a school that offers a degree in my career interests, and that has a competitive softball program. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me.
