2016 HighlightsCollege has always been a long term goal, and something that I've always aspired to accomplish. My goals are to get an education that is going to help me with my future career, and also to experience a great softball program simultaneously.
The softball community has given me so much in my life and that is why I am always more the glad to help with clinics for younger athletes, or help junior coach when invited. Giving back to the game is what makes me a good candidate for a program as well as a respectable role model. The game has always com easy to me but I have never stopped believing that there is no work to be done, because there is always work to be done. With that being said, I also enjoy meeting young girls and teaching the game I love. When I help with clinics or coach, I can see the same drive that I have for the game in their eyes, and that is what amazes me more than anything.
I am also very interested in making sure that my grades are at a high respectable level because my education is extremely important to me. Just like my athletic abilities, my educational abilities have always com easy from the start. Unlike many others I enjoy learning whether it is something new or we are just reviewing. It all is the same to me and I enjoy it all.
I have always had a ever-growing desire for a team of sisters that play together not just for themselves, but for one another. A team where nothing goes unsaid and they can all work together in a way that is smooth, and makes people say that's a sisterhood. That is what I want, and I have always pictured a college softball team holding that desire. My desire to dominate on the field and in the classroom, as well as my work ethic and intelligence is what sets me apart from others. My work ethic is what has got me to where I am, and it is going to help me get to where I not only want to be, but where I need to be.
