Jaiden McKenna '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaiden McKenna. I am currently a senior at Gilford High School in Gilford, NH. I’ve been playing travel softball since 2018. A goal of mine has always been to play softball at the collegiate level and as I grow as a player and play even more the more the drive for that goal grows. I love that softball is not easy and there are alway new challenges.

Softball is something that has allowed an escape from any problems or worries I have as well. When I get stressed I’d go hit in the driveway, throw, or work on other skills. I love what softball and sports has given to me and I one day want to become a college coach. 

I was a catcher for my local rec team and continued through middle school. I was also the catcher for my 14U travel team season.  I am now the catcher for my High School team. On my travel team I have also played mostly outfield with some time in the middle infield. I work hard at whatever position I am put into.
