"Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing", is my motto. Ever since I've learned how to play the game, I've wanted to play softball all of my life. To say it is my passion would be an understatement, because it really is my life. I understand the commitment and dedication it would take to achieve the goal of playing at a DI, DII, or DIII school, but I accept that challenge. Thousands of girls want to achieve what I dream of as well, but I believe that what I can bring to the game, and to my future school puts me up and above the rest. I live in the small town of Blairstown, and I hear everyday that the best players here are just "big fish in little ponds." However, some day, I wish to be a "big fish in an even bigger pond." I strive to be the person that grows up to be a well-known, respected player, that is proud of graduating from North Warren Regional High School, knowing that that is where I learned how to be the player I am. I understand the academic aspect of being a great player, and what it takes to go to a top notch university. I play three varsity sports, I am very involved in extracurricular clubs, and manage to maintain my straight A grades. Annually I am enrolled in honors classes, and will continue to enroll in challenging classes throughout my years. I hope to be accepted into a very competitive academic school where I would also be able to play the sport that I love. Sports are my life; cross country, basketball, winter track, and softball have all taught me to never give up, and the ability to be a leader in each of those in my own way has given me the best experiences and the most unforgettable times that I hope to also continue to my future college.
