I am a Senior at Benedictine Academy High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey, class of 2017. I have been the starting catcher since my Freshman year and have been named to several of the NJ Conference teams. I am both a catcher as well as an outfielder. This year I helped lead my team to its first State Sectional title ever and advance to the New Jersey State Finals.
I am a Scholar and Athlete, I am an Honor Roll student; my grades are my top priority at school, because academically that is what I will be judged on. Athletics is my passion and where my heart is, both in and out of school I am much more than that. Sports are one area in which I enjoy success and the through sports I am able to demonstrate my natural qualities of commitment, community, sportsmanship and leadership.
In addition to academics and sports I try and give back to my community. I try to live everyday by example. I have recently been named to the National Honor Society and joined the ACT Club and I am proud to be a Student Ambassador and a peer mentor. I have been an altar server at our local church for years. I also utilize my love of sports as a way to give back by coaching and teaching younger players the sports of Volleyball and Softball at the local recreational league.
I wish to pursue a career in Sports management, Communications, Media studies and Public relations, I want to continue to play softball in college and for as long as I can. I want to work for the NY Yankees and to represent the USA in the 2020 Olympics. I also plan to be instrumental in establishing the, "WMLS", women's major league softball league someday.
