Emily Sanabria '20 Recruiting Profile

Stepping on that diamond for the first time when I was only 7 years old, I knew the game of softball was going to attach to my soul and soon became something I cherish. With my high aspired goals coming into play each day, I strive to keep my 4.0 GPA and multiple advanced classes. Being under stressful situations is a regularity for me and creates a better character on the field under risky circumstances. I've had many coaches come and go in my life that, they have left impacts with their wise teaching lessons that I learned.  On and off the field, I have held onto those same lessons tenaciously. I knew that for me, softball wasn't just a game, it was a way of living and I have further raised higher expectations of myself, that I hope to meet. My goal to play college softball at a competitive level is a dream that I can only acquire through dedication and hard work,  and I am willing to go through that hard work to obtain that achievement I've been fantasizing about since my youth.
