Hello all!
My name is Marissa Dooley and I'm a 5'3 RHP/Utility from Hackensack, New Jersey. Currently, I play on the Hackensack High School varsity team and on the 18U White team for the NJ Fire. Ever since I started playing in 6th grade, softball has been an exciting part of my spring and has become even more exciting now that I'm able to play for a club team almost all year round!
I would like to major in Biology and eventually go into Neurosurgery, seeing as I've had an interest in this since I was 5, and possibly minor in some type of music. I'm looking to play softball collegiately, play in the college's marching band and join the bowling team if possible. I am currently the section leader for the Hackensack High School marching band drumline and I'm also the captain of the Hackensack High School girls bowling team.
I have many principal's list and honor roll awards throughout both elementary and middle school and maintained a 3.42 GPA for my freshman/sophomore/junior years of high school. I've always been in enrichment/honors classes and will be taking multiple APs throughout my junior and senior year and have maintained A's and B's. Not only am I aiming to get into the National Honor Society, but I'm part of the Tri M Music Honor Society.
