Devon Horner '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach,

My name is Devon Horner and I will be a 2017 graduate.  I want to go to college to become a high school math teacher and eventually get my masters and become a high school principal.  I do a lot of volunteer work doing softball clinics for my towns recreation program.  My dad told me a long time ago that "once you believe you can, you will".  This is something I think about all the time, especially when it comes to being successful in school, taking tests, and playing softball.  My parents have taught me to never give up no matter how difficult the task is.  This is why I know I will succeed and reach my goals of going to college, getting a degree, and playing college softball.  I work hard in the classroom and on and off the field.  I love playing softball and love to practice.  I'm a great teammate and will be a great addition to your team.  I can play a lot of different positions to help the team any way I can.  I'm positive and supportive of my teammates and I always push them to keep working hard.  If you give me a chance to play for your team you will not regret it.  Thank you, Devon Horner
