Volleyball has been my passion for over 6 years. Volleyball, to me, has been a lifestyle more than just a game. I consider this a lifestyle because majority of my character has come from lessons learned on the court.
Throughout my time connected to the game I have learned many things from my coaches and teammates. I was taught that hard work pays off both on and off the court. Nothing comes easy and nothing comes free without hard work.
I've learned that leadership qualities are not only giving the best speeches but leading by example. Possibly the best lesson I have learned is that it is easier to work with a team than on your own, being selfish won't get you anywhere in life. These lessons have helped me develop into a successful high school Volleyball player, but more importantly a successful student.
My coaches and my parents always told me that school comes first and that good grades will give me the opportunity to go to any college I choose. After the opportunities are open, I can see which would be the best fit for me both academically and athletically.
