Makayla Hawthorne '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makayla (Mak) I am a 16 year old 3 sport student athlete.  I first stepped on the diamond when I was 9 and I knew then I wanted to play on a collegiate level.  In the circle I am steely under pressure with control of the various pitches I throw.  At the plate I’m a disciplined versatile power hitter. I work hard year round to improve my softball skills striving to be the best teammate I can be.  In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA.  My goal is to attend a college where I can continue to thrive both academically and athletically.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.  I hope to become a great role model to my peers and in my community.
