Nicole Swatko '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach. My name is Nicole Swatko, I am a 2025 prospect at South Plainfield (NJ) High School. Although I can play many positions well, my main positions are RHP and 3B. I have been a starting Varsity pitcher since my freshman year when I received the Rookie of the Year award and Athlete of the Week. I am also a starting RHP-3B for the NJ Batbusters 18U travel team. My passion for pitching began at an early age. I was told that if I wanted to pitch in a game, I needed to take lessons first. That is when I learned that practice makes progress and that a good foundation is the key to success. I continue to put in the work on and off the field because I am aware that there is always something I can improve on. My parents, coaches and teammates all play a key role in my passion for the game. Without them I would not be the person and player I am today. I love being part of a team and have learned that being supportive of each other is an important part of the game. I also enjoy giving back to young athletes by passing along my knowledge and love of the game with them. By doing that, I realized that I want to pursue a college degree in Elementary Education.
