My personal goal is to challenge myself, improving my skills, education, and abilities by working hard and pushing myself to the limits to become the best athlete and individual I can be and the individual I can become.
My hard work, dedication, and willingness to help and mentor others heavily defines who I am as an athlete and as an individual today; Starting high school and coming into the softball season as a freshman and starting varsity as a left fielder was an accomplishment for me. Most of my life I worked so hard to become the best version of myself, pushing myself one step further than others would. Over the years I have learned that "practice really does make perfect." Along with softball, I also am a three-sport athlete participating in field hockey and basketball, along with softball. These sports help with building great mental toughness that most athletes develop over-time. During these seasons I have become dedicated and invested in my teammates, growing together and becoming almost a family, my teammates become some of my best friends. I believe that my abilities to work as a team while working on my skills and self toughness make me a great candidate to participate on any athletic team. I believe that what makes me different from other athletes is that I also participate in HOSA, and courses related to the healthcare field, these courses allow me to earn college credits that will benefit me in my journey towards my future. Also, I participate in church services within my church, furthering catholic students education, and teaching them about the benefits of community service. Through these events and challenges, they helped me build my character. I believe I am a strong-willed individual who has the willingness to work hard, not giving up, hard work always pays off.
Collectively, my goal is to attend a four year school where I can earn a BSN and further become educated in the healthcare world, mainly focusing on nursing. I want my experience at a university to be where I can express myself while being at a place of peace where I can focus on my academics. Also, I would love a country-like setting in a rural area, surrounded by nature and life. Personally, my overall goal is to help others and be someone who can be relied on.
