Hi, my name is Makayla Marmon, I am in my sophomore year, at Haddon Township High School, located in New Jersey. I have been playing softball for 8 years and It’s always been my biggest dream stepping on the field. I can't explain the feeling of playing, I have a different mindset. I put in 110% every game and practice to make sure I can reach my goals. I play for the 18u Wildcats located in Washington Township NJ. Coached by 2 college coaches, Megan Sooy from Arcadia University And Korie Hague from Rowan University. My main position is catcher and my secondary first base. Recently I have been getting a lot of experience in right field. I never really expected to be a catcher, I was put there during my second year of 12u at the end of the season. But ever since then something sparked, it was like an automatic click for me, it felt unreal, like I was in control, and I could just follow the ball with my eyes. Switching from first base to catcher changed the aspect of the game.
