Personal Statement
Without softball I wouldn't be where I am today. My first memories of softball were falling in love with being apart of a team and the thrill of competition. Since then, I started playing 14u travel ball when I was 11 years old. Being a young athlete on an older team forced me to be tough and resilient. Though it was hard on me mentally and physically, I realized I had a growing passion for an amazing game. I'm now 16, going into my Junior year of high school and am playing travel softball at the 16u level. With growing up playing many positions I am now mainly a right handed pitcher and shortstop. I have and always will be an ambitious athlete who puts everything I have into everything I take part in all of the enriched classes available at my school and have a 4.0 gpa. Being the hard worker I am, I value my education first and foremost. I would like to attend a school that will not just further my education but lead me to be the best softball player I can be. Though the whole world has been experiencing hard times due to Covid-19, I will not let it get me down. Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
