Leila Gonzalez '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Leila Gonzalez, I go to Progress High School(Grand Street Campus). I am now going into my Senior year of  High School. I am a two sport athlete but softball has always been number 1 on my list. I started playing softball for about 2 years now and ever since I’ve started playing, I’ve been obsessed with the sport. Ever since I started practicing with my father (Edwin Gonzalez) he would take me to the park and shoot me some pop ups and ground balls and he would lob the ball to me to hit. I am currently on a summer team called The Brooklyn Lady Panthers. My summer team is a travel team which we do a lot of tournaments. I love to learn new things and I am very open to feedback on how to improve my skills and I am very coachable.
