Lauren Bishop '28 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing softball ever since I could, starting in t-ball up to now where I'm a freshman on varsity.  I've been pitching since 6th grade and since then I knew I wanted to go far with myself to play in college. 

I am very humble, always wanting to improve and push to be my best self. Coaches describe me as very coachable, I make sure I understand what they're telling me and always try to go above and beyond expectations. 

I am a great person on and off the field, my grades are some of the best in my class and I tend to be a role model to other students with my hardworking attitude. I'm the class president and also treasurer of the Outing Club. 

I want to play somewhere where they push me to be my best self all around, academics, mentality, and athletic performance included.  I'm not against playing anywhere, wherever has the best opportunity for me to play is where I strive to go.  My goal is to become one of the hardest-working players and to set expectations high.
